The Youth Justice and Emergency Management division of Territory Families, Housing and Communities leads the Northern Territory all-of-Government ‘Welfare Group’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic.The Department of Health and the Police, Fire, Emergency Services activated Tiwi Enterprises Wurrumiyanga to accommodation and provide meals to individuals who have been affected by travel or isolation requirements as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and have been assess as a vulnerable person requiring assistance from the Welfare Group.
