Removal and Disposal of Asbestos Containing Material, Scrap Metal, Glass and Rubbish from the Former Rum Jungle Mine for a Period of 12 Months

The agency requires a suitably qualified asbestos removal contractor to provide asbestos, scrap glass and metal removal services for the former Rum Jungle Mine site including:• Supply of PPE, personnel and equipment for removal activities• Supervision of the Agency's Land Management Trainees as part of their development program to achieve an Asbestos removal qualification.• A suitably qualified person to complete training for the Trainees to achieve this certificate.• Suitably qualified asbestos hygienist to oversee the task and monitor the exposure and reportresults to the Agency• Updating of the asbestos register by a suitably qualified person immediately after removal iscomplete• Removal of all asbestos from site and disposal at the licenced facility and provide records ofcorrect disposal to the Agency.• Removal of all scrap metal for recycling and provide records of correct disposal to the Agency.• Removal of all scrap glass and plastics and provide records of correct disposal to the Agency.
