The Department of Chief Minister and Cabinet (CM&C) requires an independent institution to establish, deliver and evaluate an ongoing program for participatory monitoring of social cultural and economic (SCE) factors in the Beetaloo Sub-basin and surrounding region. The program will support the ongoing regulation, monitoring and engagement required to manage the impacts of the on-shore gas industry in the Northern Territory and enable community participation and engagement in responding to the SCE factors resulting from the development of the onshore gas industry in the region.
