The purpose of this Select RFT is to engage with the 10 shortlisted entities from Stage One, to provide civil works and site remediation services as part of the Rum Jungle rehabilitation project.This RFT process is the final stage in a two-stage process to form a works contract. The works are expected to include, but are not limited to:Development of borrow areas, including installing access routes, topsoil stripping, erosion and sediment controlRelocation of waste rock and impacted soilsConstruction of erosion and sediment control structuresDevelopment of a clean/dirty zone management planSite management services (workshops, offices, crib, ablutions)Security, traffic management and site control accessEmergency Response resourcesPrincipal Contractor for the purposes of workplace health and safetyProtection of cultural heritage sitesThe Contractor assigned to execute the project must possess and consistently hold:Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme by the Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC); andAccreditation from Contractor Accreditation Limited (CAL) at a level equivalent to or surpassing their proposal in the relevant CAL category and group.Enter your description here.
