Alice Springs - Harts Range - Water Pressure Management

Atitjere (Harts Range) is presently facing low pressure issues in the elevated lots, particularly those situated at higher elevations (considered as the most disadvantaged). The Southern Region operations team has initiated pressure testing on the affected lots to validate concerns raised directly by the community. Currently, it is observed that the Power and Water services are not meeting the required 12-meter head pressure as stipulated by the Indigenous Community Engineering Guidelines (ICEG). Preliminary investigations indicate that a previously decommissioned, nearly new pressure pumping system installed in Hermannsburg could potentially be recommissioned to enhance the community's pressure to a minimum of 12 meters head across all lots.
