The Teachers Registration Board’s (TRB) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is used to support the regulation of the teaching profession, consistent with the Teachers Registration Act 2000. All individuals who wish to teach in Tasmania must hold a valid registration authorised by the TRB. The number of active registered teachers in Tasmania is approximately 12,000. The Online Portal is used by new and existing applicants to apply for and maintain their teacher registration, and by employers to monitor registration status and apply for registrations on behalf of applicants. CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), operating since 2011, is a core system of the TRB, beyond its end of life. TRB will be looking for a vendor to deliver a replacement system providing for (but not limited to) end to end registration processes, professional conduct case management, third party verification of identity and qualifications and integrations with other systems to verify mandatory registration requirements.
