A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises of the construction of a signalised pedestrian crossing by upgrading an existing pedestrian refuge.The works include construction of concrete footpaths, adjustments to the centre median and installation of the traffic signals. Construction of pram ramps and TGSI, pedestrian fencing and cyclist hold rails shall also be undertaken.Thrust boring and open trenching is also required for the installation of conduits.The scope of works also include the signalisation of the right turn lane into Pearce Place.
