Darwin Region - Provision of Retail and Commercial Analysis for a Period of 24 Months

The Consultant will be required to provide economic and commercial advice that includes:· A review and assessment of (up to 3) population scenarios for Greater Darwin to 300,000 and beyond, taking into account current and future land supply to meet projected population scenarios (including a future population in Greater Weddell);· Analysis to inform the current settlement pattern for the Greater Darwin metropolitan region and how this may apply to Greater Weddell; · Assessing the ‘critical mass’ required for new urban residential in Weddell to achieve high levels of self-sufficiency; and· Updating the ‘Activity Centres Strategy Review (2021)’ to include population scenarios for Greater Weddell and to understand the level and type of retail and commercial offering required to service Greater Weddell.
