The originally agreed RFQ covered 1,729 km² of LiDAR acquisition at a minimum density of 10 pulses/m², along with RGB aerial imagery at a 10 cm ground sample distance (GSD). The scope comprised the following areas: Kenneth Bay to Granville Harbour (174 km²), Mulcahy Bay (7 km²), Wreck Bay to Sandblow Bay (30 km²), Stephens Bay to Window Pane Bay (39 km²), Louisa Bay (12 km²), Great Lake East (212 km²), Great Lake West (604 km²), Moonlight Ridge (298 km²), Hartz Mountains (224 km²), and Great Lake South (129 km²). During the Request for Quote process, two stakeholders expressed interest in five additional areas located adjacent to the original project extent. A Formal Instrument of Agreement was signed to include these additional areas - Tullah (99 km²), Rosebery (15 km²), Corinna (191 km²), Zeehan (42 km²), and Mount Picton (80 km²) - under the same technical conditions, at a LiDAR density of 10 pulses/m² and approximately 10 cm GSD imagery, to leverage economies of scale. This represents an additional 427 km², bringing the total project area to 2,157 km².
