The Department of Lands, Planning and Environment’s Heritage branch has a requirement for an experienced and qualified specialised diving and data analysis team to undertake a non-disturbance diver-based survey of the Macumba shipwreck, located in 45-50 metres of water off the coast of Maningrida. The diver survey will produce high resolution video and photographs of the entire wreck or key parts of the wreck, in consultation with Heritage Branch staff. This data will then be used to produce 3D photogrammetric models of parts or all of the wreck-site, which will aid in site interpretation and understanding site condition and processes.
