The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) are committed to the security and safety of the public that utilise the bus Interchanges and public transport system. A significant level of anti-social behaviour is being experienced on the public transport network, resulting in numerous incidents and property damage, particularly impacting public transport users. A Cultural Engagement service is required at both Casuarina and Palmerston Bus interchanges to help diffuse potential confrontational situations and help keep the community safe.
