The Department of lndustry, Tourism and Trade (DITT), through the Office of Sustainable Energy (OSE), is seeking to investigate:Network configuration options with associated load flow and concept designs required to extend the existing electricity system to the RE Hub in the committed timeframe with associated costs; andPreliminary connections/due diligence studies required to connect the generators in the RE Hub for a more detailed study of the issues.This is intended to provide sufficient information for the NTG to progress the RE Hub and to extend the network and required connections. The establishment of efficient and effective network configurations and connections are critical to providing the confidence, predictability and security that underpin investment decisions in the electricity system.
