Darwin - Bakewell Primary School - Car Park and Kiss and Go Area

The package 1 scope of work incorporates the construction of a new carpark and kiss and go area between Buscall Avenue and Bakewell Primary School. A new footpath and ramp will provide DDA compliant access from the Kiss and go area, and Buscall Avenue, to the nearest existing GLA within Bakewell Primary School. The works include: · Clearing and grubbing the existing area· Removing the trees and existing vegetation noted in the drawings· Removing and replacing the sandy silt layer of the subgrade noted in the Geotechnical report (where required).· Construction of all Pavement Layers as per design· Sealing with dense graded asphalt· Construction of concrete inverts, medians and kerbs· Trenching, installation, and backfill of stormwater and subsoil drainage infrastructure noted on the drawings· Construction of vehicle crossovers and tie-in to Buscall Avenue· Line marking and signage as noted on the construction drawings· Construction of a concrete footpath and ramp, including handrails and TGSIs in accordance with AS3500.3· Site remediation and landscaping works as noted on the landscaping drawings
