Darwin Region - Stuart Highway - Extension of left turn lane onto Sayer Road

The primary objective of this project is to provide at least the minimum length of the left turn lane from Stuart Highway (southbound) into Sayer Road, McMinns Lagoon. This extension will improve traffic flow and safety for vehicles turning into Sayer Road.Key aspects of the project include construction of extended lane, ensuring alignment with current road standards, policies, and guidelines.Additionally, road signage and road markings shall be considered in the design to guide driverseffectively. The project will also take into consideration the integration of this extension with existing road infrastructure to ensure a seamless transition for drivers.
