Alice Springs - Prosthetics and Orthotics - Supply and Delivery of Prothesis and Its Casting, Fitting and Prosthetist Review

Bush Steps Pty Ltd is a mobile prosthetics and orthotics clinic servicing Central Australia. Alice Springs Hospital Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) Department has previously used Bush Steps services as it is able to provide prosthesis and orthosis, their assessment, casting and fitting in a timely manner. Currently ASH do not have a Prosthetist and are relying on visits from Royal Darwin Prosthetist however this does not allow for timely fitting of prosthesis and results in client experience delays in discharge and ongoing treatment. The procurement of this Agreement will be by way of Direct Contracting given it is the most effective manner to deliver best Value for Territory, it is nonstandard contract and supports of existing systems in the P&O Department.
