The Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to conduct an environmental due diligence audit of Northern Territory Government and associated training areas across the Northern Territory.The environmental due diligence audit is intended to identify and reduce environmental harm caused by per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) by identifying all on-site and off-site areas at each relevant fire station or facility where the following may have been used or discharged:Aqueous Film Forming Foams (AFFF);other PFAS-containing firefighting foams; orplant, equipment, inventory and waste products containing AFFF or PFAS residues.The report will be due by 25 February 2022.
