The Department is seeking a professional expert to undertake a flood study for Nauiyu, Beswick and Borroloola. Each flood study will deliver a hydrological model to determine the design storm events calculated for flood study, a hydraulic model to determine the flood extent of design and reference flood events, a series of raster flood extent datasets for each design and reference event requested and a report of the flood study and model development.Hydrological and Hydraulic models will be developed in modelling packages specified by NTG in the Scope of Works documents. All raster flood extent datasets will be created in a ESRI compliant format and at a resolution and containing attributes as defined in the Scope of Works document, and will be delivered in a geodatabase template provided by DEPaWS to enable integration with the NTG GIS systems and online tools.Flood extent mapping for each community will be defined in the Scope of Works document and will be specified for each community to align with standard flood mapping requirements as well as community specific requirements as determined by DEPaWS in consultation with DIPL and PFES.
