Darwin Region - Saltwater Arm and Leaders Creek - Maintenance of Boat Ramps for a Period of 36 Months

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises of the routine and specific maintenance to Boat Ramps and Car Parking areas. This work incudes litter collection and removal and pressure cleaning.It is expected that the Contractor shall:• Conduct inspections and reporting to identify adverse conditions or requirements;• Maintain the carpark, boat ramp concrete deck and surrounds so that they are clean;• Clean ramps to remove algae, marine growth and minor sand deposits by pressure cleaning;• Collect and remove litter;• Report any structural damage to the boat ramp immediately to the DIPL Project Officer;• Minimise exposure to public complaints;• The Contractor shall be the contact person for public complaints for maintenance and cleaning issues. Provide a sign at the boat ramp with the contractor's details and maintain a complaint register;• Maintain a safe Worksite for Contractor personnel, road users and other members of the public and conduct work activities to avoid damage to property;• Comply with the various Acts, Regulations and other legislative and advisory requirementspertaining to the Contract work activities;• Liaise with adjoining property owner? .prior to undertaking Works which may become contentious.The use of electronic data collection site attendance, maintenance defects, repairs and routine works recording as proof of compliance shall be part of the contract.
