To establish a period contract(s) with a suitably qualified, equipped and experienced company or companies to undertake the installation and maintenance of firebreaks. To reduce the risk of wildfires and reduce fuel loads near adjoining properties on Vacant Crown Land in the Darwin, Palmerston and Rural areas. Contractors will need to comply with the firebreak regulations under the Fire and Emergency Act 1996 and NT fire and Emergency Regulations 1996.
