The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is seeking the services of a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the construction of a carpark at Perry's Paddock in Yellagonga National Park. The car park is to be built on DBCA managed lands; however, a significant portion of the works is within the road reserve of Ocean Reef Upper Swan Highway (H069 - also known as Ocean Reef Road) managed by Mainroads WA (MRWA) and requires adherence to all MRWA requirements under these approvals/works. The project has been jointly funded by DBCA and MRWA, therefore Respondents need to understand that whilst the project is managed as a single project by DBCA, it has been separated into two project areas determined by the land manager. This is to manage approvals, contract management, asset management, and financial reporting requirements. The scope of works for this tender is listed below. It must be noted that the contract has been split into two main areas, each with separate engineering sets and written specifications.
