East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) requires the demolition of the existing courtyard and fabrication, construction, and commissioning of a new outdoor courtyard as part of Yorgum Ward at Armadale Health Service (AHS). The proposed new courtyard has been designed to: Comply with current Australian mental health facility design standards; Provide a safe, therapeutic, and culturally inclusive environment; Incorporate anti-ligature and low-maintenance design principles; and Support recovery-oriented care through access to secure, calming outdoor spaces
