The Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security will be undertaking aquatic ecosystem baseline studies in the Beetaloo Sub-basin as outlined in the Aquatic Ecosystems Guidance Note in the Strategic Regional Environmental and Baseline Assessment (SREBA) Framework, and the approved scope of works for Aquatic Ecosystems studies in the Beetaloo Sub-basin. These studies are required to provide a baseline across the region to identify aspects that may be sensitive to development and to consider the potential cumulative impacts of multiple projects.The objective of this procurement is to source appropriately qualified and experienced researchers to document and assess the stygofauna of the Beetaloo Sub-basin to contribute to the Aquatic Ecosystems domain of the SREBA studies for the Beetaloo Sub-basin.
