Consultancy - Northern Territory Disability Strategy 2022-2032 Development

The Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities (the Department) requires a Consultant to support the development of the Northern Territory Disability Strategy.The Consultant will be required to:Attend six (6) Stage One engagement activities of key governance forums to familiarise with the context (contingent on commencement date as consultation is currently occurring). The Consultant will only be required to observe and provide support in the form of documentation/note-taking; Conduct a desktop review and high-level summary of the current environment for people with disability in the NT and identify any related strategies and influencing events or policy matters that may impact the Strategy over its term;Collaborate with the Department to write the draft Strategy and first three-year Action Plan;Lead the thematic analysis of consultation outputs and produce both public and internal consultation reports summarising the consultation activities undertaken, feedback on draft Strategy and key themes and priorities;Support the Department in the consultation of the draft Strategy and draft the first three-year Action Plan with NT Disability Strategy governance forums, including working groups and other established NT Government committees and forums; andCollaborate with the Department to finalise the Strategy and first Action Plan.Out of ScopeThe Consultant will not be required to facilitate the engagement of stakeholders, these will be led by the Department.
