Darwin - Consultancy - Provision of Expert Advice on NT Wind Resource Measurement Strategy and Site Selection Assessment for Large-Scale Wind Generation

The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Consultant to provide expert advice on suitable sites for large-scale wind farms and to develop an evidence-based strategy to guide further NT wind resource assessments.The Consultant will be required to provide a detailed report on the following items:site selection assessment and wind resource mappingbackground to Territory wind resourcestechnology pathwaysstocktake of existing wind resource assessments/measurementsapproach to gathering investment grade wind data; andoptions for managing renewable energy measurement data.
