Darwin - Construction - Alawa and Nemarluk Schools - Car Park Upgrade

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises upgrading and extending of car parking facilities at Alawa and Nemarluk schools with additional bays, to improve the car parking facilities, traffic management flow and overall road safety.The works include construction of additional asphalted, kerbed and storm water drained car parking areas in 3 separate locations, adjacent to the existing car parks (i) in front of and (ii) behind Alawa school, and (iii) beside Nemarluk school.The works also include reconfiguring the Kiss and Go movements and entry/exit to the car park in front of Alawa school from a traffic management flow and safety to pedestrians aspect.
