Darwin Region - Channel Island Bridge - Expansion Joints Replacement

Engage a suitable Contractor to replace the existing finger-plate expansion joints at both abutments of Channel Island Bridge.Works will include traffic management, survey of the existing structure, removal of the existing expansion joints, supply, preliminary fitting and installation of the new joints, anchorage and any concrete repairs and asphalt required.Contractor will engage DIPL nominated supplier for the fabrication of the new joint modules.As the bridge serves as the only access by land to Channel Island, the Contractor shall maintain traffic access to Channel Island power plant during the works.
