The Department of Health and the Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance NT (AMSANT) are seeking a panel of Consultants with demonstrated experience in working in remote communities across the Northern Territory to assist in Community-led solutions to reduce alcohol and related harms. The Consultants will engage with communities who want to participate in the development of Community Alcohol Plans (CAP).The Consultants are required to have a comprehensive understanding of the Northern Territory alcohol framework and alcohol measures that are in place across the NT, a demonstrated ability to strategically analyse, resolve and manage expectations and community driven plans for alcohol in a that community. The Consultants must have an ability to interpret, deliver and explain alcohol policy to a wide range of community members and be able to work, consult and deliver the requirement in remote settings some of which involve flying in single engine aircraft and/or driving long distances or dirt roads.
