Emergency Relief and Support Evacuation Centre Personal Shelter Kits

Under Western Australia’s (WA) Emergency Management arrangements, the Department of Communities (The Customer) is the support organisation responsible for providing emergency relief and support services. The Customer via the Emergency Relief and Support (ERS) directorate is responsible for coordinating the six (6) emergency relief and support functional domains of emergency accommodation, emergency food, emergency clothing and personal requisites, personal support services, registration and reunification, and financial assistance. Within the State Support Plan, the Customer is responsible for providing emergency accommodation to impacted persons during a prescribed emergency. This is delivered in evacuation centers, which is configured for temporary emergency accommodation needs. Therefore, the Customer has a requirement for the supply and delivery, Free Into Store (FIS), of pre-bundled and vacuumed packaged emergency personal shelter kits.
