The Inlet Works Treatment Plant at the Leanyer / Sanderson Ponds was commissioned in December 2017. This plant is a critical item in the operation of the treatment facility. The plant is situated within the perimeter fence of the property. The existing fence is a chainmesh fence which is subject to access breaches by members of the public. There is a risk that unauthorised entry to the facility could see the plant maliciously or accidentally damaged. This would cause significant disruption to the operation of the overall facility.This project involves the construction of a no-climb fence around the Inlet Works Treatment Plant with automatic gates for access to protect this asset and restrict entry to authorised personnel only.
