The Department of Attorney-General and Justice, Community Corrections is seeking to engage a suitable service provider to deliver Trauma Informed Practice training to Probation and Parole Officers. This training aims to incorporate best practice principles by providing a trauma sensitive practice to the offenders supervised by Probation and Parole Officers. The training is to be delivered in a one to two day, face to face classroom delivery format. Ideally the service provider should have experience working with clients in a trauma informed practice model and providing services to those clients. Additionally experience working with clients in the criminal justice sector would be preferred to enable training to be contextualised to this operating environment.
