Tourism NT has various business names, domain names and trademarks registered in Australia and overseas. Tourism NT may seek to add to this portfolio from time to time depending on business requirements. The management of Tourism NT”s intellectual property (IP) portfolio is critical to the performance of its core functions.The contractor will be required to provide the following services:a) Renewal and monitoring of registered trademarks, business names and domain names including maintenance of a register or data base to track renewal dates and payment of renewal fees;b) Purchase of new trademarks, business names and domain names;c) Trademark watching, monitoring and surveillance including monitoring competitors’ trademark applications;d) General advice in relation to IP, including;i) Provision of advice on IP application and registration services; andii) Provision of advice on trademark infringements;iii) Other general advice in relation to IP as required.e) Provide Tourism NT with quarterly reporting which will include the status of all registered IP and updates on actions taken, and actions to be completed.All other legal advice/services requirements are out of scope of this contract.
