The Consultant is required to produce an approved set of construction contract documents suitable for tendering the works. The general requirements of the detailed design includes:- Site inspections- Liaison with all Authorities, including road owners, services and DIPL- Geotechnical investigations - Engineering survey- Drilling investigations, including clearing works and water bore works (test wells) - Hydrology and hydraulic assessments, including drainage, water and onsite waste water- Electrical infrastructure design, including analysis between centralised and distributed solar/battery and generator supply systems- Detailed geometric design- Associated infrastructure design (sheds, ablution facility, fencing, etc.)- Safe system assessment- Pavement design- Drainage design- Road furniture, including signage- Preparation of drawings and tender documentation, including technical specification- Schedule of quantities and cost estimates- Design reports- Road safety audit (stage 3)- Safety in design risk assessment- Value engineering- 3D design modelling- Engineering services required during construction/tender period, as and when required to clarify and support design
