A general outline of the work to be undertaken comprises the reconstruction of road shoulders and seal widening of approximately 28 kilometres (both sides of the pavement). The process for the shoulder involves ripping the existing material and topping up with gravel to achieve a 200mm compacted thickness at grade. Refer to Clause 14.5.1 Widening.The works include earthworks at numerous culvert extensions, localised drainage, guardrail installation, road furniture, and line marking.
