COVID-19 Requirement - Safe Isolation Accommodation - Contour Hotel Katherine - Big Rivers Region

The Youth Justice and Emergency Management division of Territory Families, Housing and Communities leads the Northern Territory all-of-Government ‘Welfare Group’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of Health activated the Contour Hotel Katherine to accommodation and provide meals to individuals who have been affected by travel or isolation requirements as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and have been assess as a vulnerable person requiring assistance from the Welfare Group. Accommodation and meals aligns with the Welfare Group responsibilities. To meet the cleaning requirements following a COVID-19 guest, a deep clean of each room was require upon check out of each COVID-19 positive guest.
