This tender is for the procurement of a research partner to provide a comprehensive visitor survey of interstate and international visitors to Tasmania and their behaviours, to support core marketing and other reporting. This is currently delivered via the Tasmanian Visitor Survey (TVS). Data from the TVS delivers critical insights to the Tasmanian Tourism industry, informs the Tasmanian Visitor Economy Strategy (known as T21), measures progress towards economic goals, informs Tourism Tasmania’s marketing strategy, supports demand assessments for air and sea access and helps the wider community to better understand tourist activity and the impacts of the visitor economy.
