Darwin - Provision of a Digital Industry Capability Baseline Report

The Northern Territory Government is seeking a suitably experienced consultant to:Undertake analysis and provide an assessment of digital industry capability in the Northern Territory (Territory).Benchmark the Territory industry’s capability maturity against an appropriate model to enable comparison with other regions as well as to future Territory benchmark assessments.Based on the analysis, make observations on improving capability depth, capability maturity and ways to encourage development, taking into consideration:a) Economic benefits for the industry and the Territory overall b) How best to leverage local education providers (university, VET providers, industry certification etc) to optimise capability developmentc) Assessment of industry segments most likely to grow (eg cyber security, customer centred design)d) Barriers to achieving capability uplift and industry growthIdentify measures to evaluate success.The assessment should take into account the diversity of the local industry as well as diversity of customer groups which include government, defence, local industry and other digital providers, as well as the potential to service national and Asian clients.The assessment should also involve consultation with the local industry and key customers.
