The Aboriginal Justice Unit (AJU) requires a suitably qualified contractor to undertake desktop research to identify sites for the delivery of Alternatives to Custody (ATC).The successful contractor will conduct desktop research to identify possible ATC sites against criteria and will need to include sites that may be partially suitable but require upgrades to be fit for purpose.This research is to be provided in a report to the AJU describing the research findings and including the details of, but not limited to, land tenure, caveats, ability to meet emergency response needs and more, as well as any potential capital investment that may be required.The contract is expected to be delivered over two stages with the delivery of Stage One to be given priority over Stage Two.Specifically;Stage One involves: Identification of suitable ATC sites for both the Big River’s and Central Australia regions’.Stage Two involves: Identification of suitable ATC sites across the rest of the Northern Territory (NT).
