The Legacy Mines Unit requires a specialist Consultant to provide expert advice and support for the Sandy Flat legacy mine remediation project, particularly in relation to hydrogeological and geochemical factors. The consultancy should include industry leading experts with directly relevant experience.The expert advice and support required from this contract will include:• Conducting comprehensive reviews of existing geochemical and environmental reports, data,and models pertaining to the site.• Attending meetings and workshops with the client and relevant stakeholders to discussfindings, provide expert input, and collaborate on remediation strategies.• Developing, updating, and interpreting geochemical and environmental models to informremediation planning and decision-making.• Analysing and interpreting site data, including geochemical, hydrogeological, and other relevantenvironmental data.• Producing detailed reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate findings,recommendations, and remediation plans.• Providing ongoing expert consultation and support throughout the remediation planningprocess, ensuring that decisions are based on sound scientific principles and best practices in mine closure and environmental remediation.
