Darwin - Provision of the Tracer System

The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) records and administers firearm licensing and registrations related transactions, through the Shooter and Firearm Easy Registration System (SaFER).NTPFES is seeking to replace the existing SaFER system with a new bespoke and contemporary system. The bespoke system, to be called “Tracer” will be developed in NTPFES preferred technology environment operating on NT Government (NTG) technology infrastructure, which is adaptable to future needs.Tracer will be implemented to align with the Northern Territory’s legislative requirements and will include an online web and mobility interface to the core system. It will also interface with the new policing case management system, SerPro, currently in development.The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is project managing this initiative on behalf of NTPFES.
