Top End Region - Jabiru - Sewer Remediation Works, including Remediation Design and Construct

The scope of works to be carried out under the Contract includes, but is not limited to:· Sewer re-lining in accordance with the details in Attachment A - Essential Services Assessment Report.· Excavation and repairs to isolated sewer defects (e.g., misalignments, cracked pipes) and property junctions in accordance with the details in Essential Services Sewer Report.· Sewer re-build in accordance with the details in Attachment A - Essential Services Assessment Report.· Construction of inspection openings in accordance with Power and Water Standards and Contract Drawings. Table 11 and Table 12 in Attachment A - Essential Services Assessment Report provide a summary of the various diameters of sewers previously inspected and the proportion of sewers requiring remediation. For detailed scope of works refer to Attachment A - Essential Services Assessment Report.The scope of works has been broken down into 2 Stages. The Contractor is able to undertake both Stage 1 and 2 simultaneously with approval by the Superintendent. Any associated costs to remobilise to a section of sewer remediation where investigation works are still progressing will be borne by the Contractor. Any time and cost delays to Stage 2 from Stage 1 reporting and approvals will not be accepted.
