Provision of Court Recording and Transcription Services

The Department of Justice is responsible for the administration of courts and tribunals across Western Australia and for supporting the effective operation of the justice system. In performing these functions, the Department requires the provision of reliable, accurate and timely court recording and transcription services to support court and tribunal proceedings Court recording and transcription services are a critical operational requirement. They support judicial officers, registries, court users and other authorised parties by enabling the production of transcripts for proceedings where required for judicial, administrative, statutory and procedural purposes, including case management, sentencing, review and appeal processes.
