The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has a series of projects underway to update or replace key software solutions. The Program Management Office (PMO) is managing the delivery of two significant programs of work: the Change and System Replacement Program (CSRP) and the Corporate Business Systems Replacement Program (CBSRP). The CSRP includes projects to deliver upgrades and/or new services for the ODPPs prosecution facing systems. The CBSRP includes projects to replace corporate business systems. As well as changing these systems, the ODPP will have opportunities during these programs for process improvement. It is possible that some of these changes may involve job re-design. There is also a significant legislative change imminent, with the Uniform Evidence Bill close to enactment. To ensure that these change processes are managed effectively and fairly, the ODPP requires the expertise of an experienced Change Manager. This officer will prepare a change strategy and lead the development and execution of change initiatives that will ensure a structured and supported transition. The Change Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering change initiatives that deliver effective stakeholder engagement throughout the two programs, high levels of adoption of the new systems, operational and cultural changes to support the realisation of the desired business outcomes and benefits.
