Darwin - McMillans Road - Modifications to 5 Side Entry Pits

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises:The works comprise of the modification of 5 side entry pit along McMillans road. The existing side entry pit lids and gutter are to be removed, breakout some sections of the existing pit ceiling, extend pit if necessary to support new pre-cast side entry pit lintel and install new combined side entry pit and grated inlet pit surrounds and lintel. Some localised asphalt profiling and new asphalt works will be required to ensure new works match into existing. Works to be done at night to limit traffic disruptions and suitable road plates to be installed so the lane can be trafficked during daylight hours.
