The Department of Health has a requirement for two Portable Point Of Care Ultrasound Scan (POCUS) machines with transducers suitable for echo (adult and paediatric), peripheral and central venous access, procedural guidance (e.g. paracentesis and thoracocentesis) and accessories to service the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department for the ongoing care of the most complex, acutely unwell and unstable patients in Alice Springs Hospital.
