Darwin - Provision of a Security Officer at the Palmerston COVID-19 Vaccination Hub

Need to stand up Palmerston COVID-19 Vaccination Hub in short time period to ensure continuity in vaccine rollout to the Greater Darwin population. One Security officer to ensure the safety of staff, vaccine stock security, maintain good order in the Palmerston COVID-19 Vaccination Hub and assist with patient flow. The Envisaged officer would have a simple station/desk/base in the centre with a role that would be monitoring the centre from their station and would also be roaming. Any situation would be assessed as needed and responded to – either by simple verbal engagement or providing safety to staff and public and contacting Police where necessary.Opening times as discussed at present:• Wednesdays and Thursdays 0900hrs to 1800hrs• Fridays and Saturdays 0830hrs to 1530hrs• Sundays 0830hrs to 1500hrsThe scheduling is likely to increase to seven days a week with extended hours.
