AGRN1258 - Secondary & Local Roads Emergency/IRW - Austral Downs CH 0.00 To CH 121.18

Following rainfall across Central Australia during the months of February and March 2026, the Austral Downs Road was closed after sustaining significant damage. This road forms part of an access route from the Barkly Highway to the Sandover Highway, for the community members of Alpurrurlam, Austral Downs Station and NT Police. The department of Logistics and Infrastructure is required to repair the road to its preexisting condition, ensuring safety, serviceability and compliance with DLI Standard Specifications. Scope of Works: To Reinstate the road to its preexisting condition the following scope of works are required: Invert Grading Reform & Recompact Scour Repairs
