The NT Aboriginal Tourism Strategy 2O2O - 2030's vision is to be the undeniable Australian leader in the Aboriginal tourism sector. There is a broad range of Australian Government, NT Government and philanthropic funding opportunities for the Aboriginal tourism sector. To support the development of new bookable experiences and quality of experiences and products there is a need to assist Aboriginal Territorians, businesses and organisations to access services to navigate, understand and identify tourism development funding opportunities. Many Aboriginal owned tourism operators have business and project plans and ambitions but need access to additional support and funding to bring these plans to fruition. Navigating and accessing potential funding opportunities can be challenging and an intensive time consuming activity. The Department of lndustry Tourism and Trade has the requirement for culturally appropriate services of a maximum of two experienced NT Aboriginal-owned consultancy businesses to support Aboriginal Territorians, business, organisations and Aboriginal owned tourism operators to access and apply for potential national and NT funding opportunities.
