The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade (DITT) Legacy Mines Unit (LMU) is seeking a Consultant to work with the Legacy Mines Unit as the Sandy Flat Project Lead for 12 months. The Consultant will be based in the DITT Darwin City Office, reporting directly to the Director of Mining Remediation. Some site visits will be required.This work will involve planning through to the delivery of a remediation plan, including developing a procurement strategy and coordinating contracted subject matter experts. The Consultant should have experience in leadership roles related to mining remediation, with strong technical knowledge and project management skills.
