The objective of the system strength studies is to identify the forecasted system strength in consideration with the proposed renewable generation plan and displacement of the existing synchronous generators, recommended options to maintain system security along a system load and generation timeline in accordance with the requirements of the Network Technical Code (NTC). The 3 regulated networks of Darwin-Katherine, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek must all be assessed. The methodology defined in the process below is to be established and approved by PWC before commencing with the execution of the studies.
