Darwin Region - Road Sweeping Services for a Period of 36 Months

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises:The sweeping of concrete and sealed pavement surfaces of NT Government roads, car parks, kerbs, traffic islands, cycle ways and footpaths utilising mechanical power sweeping and vacuum equipment.The supply and application of detergent and high-pressure water blasting, utilising either the vehicle-mounted high-pressure washer or the vehicle-mounted street washer as when required for accidents and spillages.Hand sweeping at intersections on medians and splitter islandsRemoval of litter and lightweight waste using the vehicle-mounted vacuum hose when required.The use of electronic data collection for defect recording and proof of repair and sweeping frequency compliance shall be part of the contract
